Nicole Colby Longton
Named Massachusetts "Rising Star" Super Lawyers for Criminal Defense in 2009 and 2010
Before graduating from Harvard Law School, Nicole Colby Longton was selected for an internship with the Drug Task Force Unit at the United States Attorney’s Office. After graduation, Attorney Longton joined the trial department of the Boston office of one of the world's largest and most exclusive law firms, where she specialized in complex commercial and criminal litigation.
In 2009, she founded the Longton Law Office in downtown Worcester to focus on criminal defense, personal injury, and business litigation.
Attorney Longton has represented both civil and criminal clients in state and federal courts across the country. In federal court, Attorney Longton recently represented an individual at a jury trial on charges of extortionate collection of credit and conspiracy. Attorney Longton's most recent state court criminal trials include OUI's, violent crimes, and sexual assault.
Attorney Longton, who also attended Holy Cross and St. Peter-Marian, is always active in the Worcester Community. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Cross Lawyer's Association as well as the Massachusetts, Worcester County, Boston, and Women's Bar Associations.
