Fraud, Breach of Contract – Worcester District Court

One of the largest banks in the area brought serious claims, including fraud, against client.  While using two previous lawyers, summary judgment had already entered against client on two counts, resulting in a lien being placed on his property and a judgment entering in excess of $20,000. Client was told there was no hope before turning to Attorney Longton who immediately negotiated removal of the execution and lien, and resolved all pending claims in favor of the client.

 

Conspiracy and
Trade Secrets

Client was sued by former employer for conspiracy and disclosure of trade secrets. Former employer sought emergency and immediate relief (Preliminary Injunction) prior to a long-weekend. Attorney Longton immediately filed an opposition successfully argued in court to prevent issue of the injunction. She later filed a motion to dismiss all counts and argued in court before two Superior Court judges. All claims against the client were dismissed.
